We are seeking a Clinical Manager for our specialized Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP) treating Depression, Anxiety, and other Mood disorders.
We are looking for a Clinical Manager to join our team in delivering exceptional patient care, encouraging individual and professional development of staff therapists, exhibiting great team cohesion, and having compassion for self and others.
The clinical manager will function as a team leader in motivating, supporting, and coaching the team to deliver exceptional patient care for individuals suffering from depression, anxiety, and other mood disorders.
This person will work in close coordination with the Valenta director who is responsible for overall quality of care.
Job Description:
Perform intake assessments, psychosocial assessments, diagnosis, treatment, and crisis intervention of patients with psychiatric disorders Oversee clinical treatment plans for patients, lead weekly multidisciplinary team meetings, and support appropriate discharge planning.
Responsibility of overseeing delivery of group and individual therapy, case conceptualization, and execution of treatment goals and objectives.
Demonstrate ability to consult with other professional providers to provide appropriate treatment for the patient Provide individual sessions, family/conjoint therapy, group counseling, education and other meetings as appropriate Interpret psychiatric treatment to appropriate supports and help to reduce fear and other attitudes obstructing acceptance of psychiatric care and continuation of treatment and will maintain regular contact with families, outside clinicians, referring parties, and report safety concerns to mandated reporting agencies.
Lead in-service trainings and participate in individual/group supervision meetings
Qualifications:
-Licensed MFT, LPCC, LCSW, PhD, PsyD or pre-licensed therapist with significant experience in the field -Experience in working at higher levels of care including RTC, PHP, or IOP -Experience in leading group therapy -Previous experience in a supervisory role -Must demonstrate (or be willing to learn) strong business acumen -Training in CBT or DBT is preferred -Must be able to respond well to a rapid and fluctuating interdependent work environment -Strong communication skills, both written and verbal Compensation:
