Position requires the following.
1.
Obtain authorizations for patient care from insurance providers.
2.
Order needed supplies.
3.
Call, fax and obtain orders from physicians.
Knowledge of Kinser/Wellsky EMR a plus but not required (can be trained).
Prior experience dealing with insurance portals and working in a healthcare setting a big plus.
Good pay, benefits and an excellent team to work with.
