- Receive incoming shipments and verify the contents against the purchase orders or invoices-Obtain Freight Quotes,Create BOL's - Unload, unpack, and inspect incoming materials for damage or defects - Sort, label, and store items in the designated storage areas - Maintain accurate inventory records using warehouse management systems (WMS) or other software - Prepare and package outgoing shipments according to customer specifications and shipping methods - Ensure all shipments are properly labeled and have the correct documentation - Coordinate with carriers to schedule pick-ups and deliveries - Operate material handling equipment such as pallet jacks or forklifts to move items within the warehouse - Conduct regular cycle counts and assist with periodic physical inventory counts -Schedule Pick-ups ###
Experience:
- Previous experience in a warehouse or distribution center environment preferred - Familiarity with order fulfillment processes and stock management - Proficiency in using RF scanners for inventory tracking - Ability to accurately perform order picking using pick lists or other instructions - Understanding of shipping and receiving procedures, including knowledge of carrier requirements for domestic and international shipments.
