HVAC Technician
Express Employment of Rancho Cucamonga is Seeking a Motivated Furnace Technician for the city of Rancho Cucamonga
Interested candidates should be eager to work with passion and reliable transportation. Hours: Mon-Fri 5am-1:30pm PAY DOE $30.00 and Up
Responsibilities for the Technician
Performing repairs, preventative maintenance for hot work production furnaces and hear treat furnaces
Perform temperature uniformity surveys test using a portable survey datalogger field test instrument
Load and unload furnaces
Prepare survey racks and stands for the performance of Temperature Uniformity Surveys to include: cutting and welding thermocouple wire to the required lengths
Calibrate furnace control instruments such as the temperature chart recorders, temperature controllers and the over limit controllers
Ensure that all the instruments that cannot be calibrated in house get calibrated by an outside source
Create the certification of calibration for each instrument and affix calibration sticker that shows calibration date and due date
Validate and confirm sufficient furnace components are on hand for the performance of scheduled TUS, SAT and Calibrations
Requirements:
Knowledge of Programmable Logic Controllers and electro-mechanical controls a must
Ability to reach and comprehend simple to complex instructions, correspondence, and memos
Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as corrections factors, percentages, area, circumference, and volume.
HVAC experience is a MUST
Electrical trouble shooting skills
