Shipping Supervisor

Duties:
Ensure correct shipment of international and domestic orders
Supervise order pullers and loaders to ensure timely shipment of merchandise to stores. Directs movement of merchandise from work area unto the truck(s)
Coordinates with Manager or Assistant Manager on delivery schedules and delivery times to ensure proper trailers are loaded on the correct days.
Coordinates activities with Receiving Department Supervisor as necessary; researches and resolves problems.
Perform other duties as assigned by senior management.
Confers with buyers, vendors, and store personnel regarding timely receipt of shipments, special orders; researches and resolves problems as necessary.
Skills/Requirements:
Two years college with business emphasis and/or equivalent work experience.
Minimum of 2 years' experience in a fast paced, warehouse management role. Must have supervisory experience of personnel.
Must have previous experience of being a Shipping Supervisor at a warehouse
Must possess a good working knowledge of warehouse management systems including inventory control systems, as well as proficiency in Microsoft suite of tools including Outlook, Excel, Word and others.
Experience with powered and manual material handling equipment
Strong interpersonal skills. Able to interact with all levels of employees and management. Detail oriented. Strong organizational and follow-through skills. Excellent analytical and problem solving skills
Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. Requires frequent walking and standing. Must be able to work in a warehouse environment - cement floors, temperature swings, loud noise and being frequently exposed to moving mechanical equipment and parts.
Must pass a security background check.
Availability:
Full-Time, 40 hours per week
Hours: 8:30am - 5pm; Monday-Friday (subject to change due to shift changes)Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
