Liberty Healthcare operates a specialized forensic mental health program within the West Valley Detention Center - a San Bernardino County jail located in Rancho Cucamonga, CA.
This jail-based program provides high-quality and timely assessments, psychiatric stabilization, and restoration of competency services to adults who are struggling with mental illness and incompetent to stand trial.
As a LCSW or LMFT with Liberty Healthcare's program, your responsibilities will include:
Performing psychosocial evaluations on newly admitted patients - including a DSM 5 diagnostic impressionProviding cognitive-behavioral treatment and psychoeducation to individuals and groupsServing as a case lead to assigned patientsContributing to individualized treatment plans within a multidisciplinary teamProactively contacting family and collateral contacts when appropriate for the purposes of evaluation and treatmentSchedule for this position is 2 / 10-hour shifts on weekdays of choice.
